Deaf Kids Talk

It is a tradition at JWPOSD, on the last day of school to not only have a Potluck Picnic but to hold our Annual Talent Show.  This is a great way to end the school year and everyone is invited! If you’d like some ideas please contact your teacher or therapist. Practice at home and a talent can be anything your child loves to do!  Some from the past include singing, bouncing a ball, reciting poetry, karate, and gymnastics.  The only request is to keep it short as our younger audience has hard time sitting and paying attention.  This is more of a quick poem, song, dance, juggle, hop, tumble etc.  The talent “performance” is to be worked on at home and simple props are the best.  If you have any questions feel free to ask Karen, as she is the coordinator of the event and the MC. If your child is shy and would like to do something with a friend or classmate, feel free to put them together.
